Meet Greg Stewart
Mr. Stewart began his career in commercial real
estate development in 1982 with the formation of Benco
Development Inc. In conjunction with two other partners,
the business plan of Benco Development was the development
of smaller unanchored shopping centers throughout Southern
California. Upon the retirement of a partner in 1992,
Benco Development was reformed, with Mr. Stewart’s remaining
partner, as Benevest Development LLC, which continued
developing shopping centers and single retail tenant
facilities. During this period Mr. Stewart’s activities
included project selection, entitlements, leasing, financing
and construction management.
In the year 2000, wishing to expand into other
commercial and residential real estate product lines,
Mr. Stewart formed Caritas Partners Inc. a wholly owned
California corporation.
Prior to Mr. Stewart’s involvement with commercial
real estate development, Mr. Stewart worked as a sales
agent in commercial real estate for a five year period.
He associated with two firms most notably Arthur Rubloff
and Company a Chicago based national real estate enterprise.
Mr. Stewart graduated Cum laude with a
Bachelors degree from California State University at
Long Beach.
